Important Dates and Deadlines for the 2025 - 2026 School Year
Seniors are given a copy of their transcript in mid- September in their American Government class. Included with this transcript is information related to college visits, scholarships, the ACT and the college application process.
September 2025: School Counselors will be in American Government classes reviewing transcripts, college information, and senior year updates.
Friday, September 12, 2025: All students in grades 9-12 will take part in programming required by House Bill 123. This programming is essential for helping students to recognize social isolation, dating violence, suicide prevention and overall mental health.
October 1, 2025: First date that seniors can complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2026-2027 school year. The website to access the FAFSA is www.fafsa.gov. Please remember - the FAFSA is always free to fill out and submit! Do not pay a fee -- this means you are not on the correct site.
Friday, October 17, 2025: Manufacturing Day at NSCC for all students who register with their school counselor by the deadline.
November 2025 : Americanism Test will be given to students who sign up in grades 10-12. This test is sponsored annually by the American Legion.
November 3, 2025: Parent / Teacher Conferences in the evening.
November 6, 2025: Parent / Teacher Conferences in the evening.
November 7, 2025: Parent / Teacher Conferences all day. Students will not attend school on this date.
November 11, 2025: Veteran's Day Celebrations at Napoleon High School. Information released closer to this date.
January, 2026: School counselors meet with all students in current grades 8 - 11 to review scheduling and registration information for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
January/February 2026 - Specific Date TBD: Annual Parent College Credit Plus Informational Meeting. This meeting will be held at 6 pm in the NHS Cafeteria and is mandatory for any parent of a student wishing to take College Credit Plus courses next school year.
February / March 2026: All current juniors at Napoleon High School will take the ACT free of charge during the school day. Testing may take place over the course of several dates. Registration for this ACT date is done through the school.
May 1, 2026: Decision Day for the Class of 2026!
May 8, 2026: Backyard Bash
May 22, 2026: Mandatory Graduation Practice for the Class of 2026. Times will be posted and announced to students in early May. This practice is MANDATORY for all seniors who plan to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Sunday, May 24, 2026 - Commencement in the Grand Canyon! See you at 2 p.m.! Congratulations to the Napoleon High School Class of 2026!
