ACT Information

Per new policies in place by the Ohio Department of Education, all current juniors enrolled in Napoleon High School will be offered the ACT in an online format in the spring of 2024.  The test will be free to all juniors and all registration will be handled through Napoleon High School - juniors will not have to register through the ACT website on their own for this test.  Please note:  The writing section is not included.

More information related to test day details will be shared during pre-registration prior to the actual testing date. Please be aware that this is a national test used for college admissions, scholarships, and potentially a pathway to graduation. Do your best. Additionally, the test must model the Saturday ACT, so if you've already taken a Saturday ACT, you should know what to expect. There are very strict guidelines that must be followed during administration.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is recommended that a student who plans to apply to college take the ACT twice before their senior year since college applications should be submitted in fall of the senior year.

The ACT is accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States.  All registration is completed online through the website listed below, and if you click on the website below, it will redirect you to the ACT website.

Right now, the following testing fees are set and all payments must be made when you register online.

ACT without writing - $46.00             ACT with writing - $62.50

When you register, you can have your score reports sent for FREE to up to four colleges.  If you wait to have scores sent until after you test, you will need to pay a small fee to have scores sent. We recommend that you send scores to colleges you are interested in when you register. If you are registering with NCAA Eligibility Center, you should enter code 9999 so that they will recieve your ACT scores. The Napoleon High School code is 363-605.
