Right Now In Guidance...

Seniors are given a copy of their transcript in mid- September in their American Government class. Included with this transcript is information related to college visits, scholarships, the ACT and the college application process.

September 2026:

• Mid-September – School Counselors will be in American Government classes reviewing transcripts, college information, and senior year updates.  
• Monday, September 21 – Bowling Green State University @ NHS (C Lunch)
• Wednesday, September 23 – Ohio Northern University @ NHS (C Lunch)

October 2026:

• October 1, 2026:  First date that seniors can complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2026-2027 school year. The website to access the FAFSA is www.fafsa.gov.  Please remember - the FAFSA is always free to fill out and submit! Do not pay a fee -- this means you are not on the correct site. 
• Friday, October 16, 2026:  Manufacturing Day at NSCC for all students who register with their school counselor by the deadline. 
• Tuesday, October 20 – Owens Community College @ NHS (C Lunch)
• Wednesday, October 21 – Northwest State Community College @ NHS (C Lunch)
• Friday, October 23 – Defiance College @ NHS (C Lunch)
• Tuesday, October 27 – University of Toledo @ NHS (C Lunch)
• Wednesday, October 28 – FCCC @ NHS to meet w/ intereted Sophomores

November 2026:

• Tuesday, November 3:  Americanism Test will be given to students who sign up in grades 10-12. This test is sponsored annually by the American Legion. 
• November 11, 2025: Veteran's Day Celebrations at Napoleon Elementary School.  Information released closer to this date. 

December 2026:

• Early December – Sophmores who sign up will visit two programs at Four County Career Center
• Thursday, December 17 – ”Senior Tea” during C Lunch

January 2027:

• Wednesday January 27 – Registration and HB 123 Programming

February 2027:

• Tuesday, February 2 – Registration Forms collected during lunches
• Wednesday, Febrauary 3 – College Credit Plus Parent Informational mtg – NHS Cafe @ 6pm
• Thursday, February 4 – Registration Froms collected during lunches

February/March 2027:

• All Juniors will take the ACT here at Napoleon High School free of charge during the school day

April 2027:

• Thursday, April 1 – CCP Deadline to turn in “Intent to Participate” to school counselor
• Thursday, April 15 – CCP Deadline to apply for Fall 2027 CCP courses

May 2027:

• Friday, May 7 – Advanced Placement American History Exam: 8-noon in Library
• Friday, May 14 – Deadline to register for Fall 2027 CCP Courses w/ school counselor
• May 21, 2027: Mandatory Graduation Practice for the Class of 2027. Times will be posted and announced to students in early May. This practice is MANDATORY for all seniors who plan to participate in the commencement ceremony. 
• Sunday, May 23, 2027: Commencement in the Grand Canyon!  See you at 2 p.m.! Congratulations to the Napoleon High School Class of 2027!
