Team Sports
The course is designed to incorporate a full complement of team sports with fitness and conditioning exercises included in all activities. Team Sports will focus on developing athletic skills and teamwork while engaging in a number of sports, both indoor and outdoor. Curriculum may include team sports such as football, softball, volleyball, soccer, ultimate team handball, and basketball, to name a few. Emphasis in all areas is placed on advanced level skills and strategies. Students will be evaluated by demonstrating a knowledge of the rules and strategies of the activities through written exams, skills testing, personal fitness assessment, and instructor observations. Students should expect to fully participate daily when enrolled in this course.
