Advanced Speech Communications

This course is intended to further develop communication skills in the academic, social and business settings.   Emphasis is placed on articulating ideas clearly and effectively in various situations, empowering students through both knowledge and experience.   Students will prepare and deliver thorough, well-organized speeches and focus on developing more advanced delivery techniques.   Students will critique through proper listening procedures and effective feedback. The course will provide practical experience with interviewing skills and other formal means of communication that students will en- counter in their future endeavors.
