Advanced Placement Composition

AP Composition is intended to represent freshman English courses commonly offered at the college level. Students receive training in reading and writing, specifically different types of compositions.  The curriculum is College Board approved.  Upon completion of the course and the examination, if a student passes the AP exam he or she may receive college credit based on his or her chosen college's requirements. Entry into AP Composition is through teacher recommendations and personal initiative. A fee is required for the course to cover the College Board AP Examination given in May.
