Students will study and practice techniques related to hand-drawn and hand-produced animation, creating several short productions over the semester. Various animators and their processes will be studied for their formal, expressive, and technical qualities. Drawing is a heavy component of this course, and students are expected to allow for time outside of class to complete work satisfactorily. Some items will need to be furnished by students.
